obsessed with color

I redesigned my own kitchen with a certain amount of anxiety, I know all the many possibilities, but my budget was limited. I knew I wanted lots of color, but I also wanted a peaceful environment, after all, most families live in their kitchen. I came to the conclusion that a neutral kitchen cabinet color with very colorful tiles would give me the most pleasure over time. The south facing kitchen captures a lot of light, and on dreary Seattle winter days, the orange backdrop feels most uplifting.  The backsplash was my foray into the world of designing and making mosaics, thanks to the expert help and encouragement of Seattle Mosaic Arts.
