In recent years I have become enamored with using mosaics in architectural installations. This is the first mosaic project I undertook, a back splash for my own kitchen. I was inspired by my friend and former client Claire Barnett, founder of Seattle Mosaic Arts. My obsession feeds on my love of color and unusual materials. I am currently experimenting with methods and techniques with a view to making mosaic installations for my clients in the future.
